1. GENERAL QUESTIONS
Q. How may I use AbsolutVision pictures?
You can use the downloaded images for the following purposes:
1. in magazines and newspapers, and on book covers;
2. as a design element on a website, video game, or CD-ROM;
3. as part of marketing, advertising, or promotional materials, including print ads, mailers, flyer's, handouts and
packaging;
4. in connection with your business or entity, eg corporate identity documents, and letterhead;
5. as decor in an office, lobby, or public area, restaurant, or retail store;
6. for on-screen presentation;
7. in video, film, or television broadcasts;
8. the images may be transmitted to a third party by way of a sample incorporated in a design of a web page for example, but
not for permanent storage for their re-use by others.

Q. What are the usage restrictions?
You cannot use the downloaded images for the following purposes:
1. Use the images in any electronic/digital media of any form unless they are solely for viewing, and no authorization is
granted for downloading or archiving for any reason;
2. authorize any third party to use the images for any purpose or resell, sublicense, or otherwise make available the images
for use or distribution separately or detached from a product or Web page;
3. share the images across a network, on a CD, or in any other way;
4. use automated or programmatic means or methods to download the images;
5. use the images in any downloadable format intended for multiple distribution including, without limitation, Web site
templates, software products, e-greetings, etc.;
6. store the images on any form of network (or like device), only unless access is limited to licensed persons;
7. use the images in connection with any pornographic, obscene, immoral or illegal materials.
Q. How do I search for photos?
Keywords are the most effective way to find the image you need. Type keywords that describe the image in the
Keyword or field on the left of your screen. Use terms such as AND, OR and NOT to control your search in more detail. Use
asterisks (*) as a wild card for partial matches.
You can also go thru our thematic libraries to look for the right picture.
Q. What payment methods are accepted?
For a maximum security and confidentiality of payment details , all our transactions are done via PayPal, the leading global online payment service and 2CO/2Checkout. They accept all major credits cards.. More information about these companies can be found at https://www.paypal.com/ and https://www.2checkout.com/. If you would like to arrange other payment methods (ie, sending us a check or wire transfer) please write to subscribe@absolutvision.com.
Q. What is JPEG2000 file format?
JJPEG2000 is a new image coding system that uses state-of-the-art compression techniques based on wavelet
technology. This is the successor of the well-known traditional JPEG. One of his main advantage his to offer an alpha channel
for quick and fast editing of your images.
AbsolutVision JPEG2000 images are using the extended version developed by Adobe (.jpf). For more informations about JPEG2000

Currently we support the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox. Macintosh users should use latest version of Safari. We do not support earlier versions of Netscape on Mac OS 9.22. ABSOLUTVISION RECOMMANDS FIREFOX 3.0.

Yes you can. But you must strictly follow our license terms. Please read our License Agreements.
2. THE ABSOLUTVISION SUBSCRIPTION
Q. What is an AbsolutVision Subscription?
AbsolutVision Subscription is the best way for downloading the images you need when ever you want. No additional fees, no price calculations, no annoying forms to fill in. Just sign in, choose the Subscription period (one day, one month or one year), search or browse our galleries and download the images. For a low fee you will get access to our entire library of royalty-free images. AbsolutVision Subscription is the perfect tool for creative people!
Q. I just purchased my subscription and I still cannot download hires pictures
If you have just purchased a subscription and you cannot download pictures please try to restart your
browser. PayPal and 2CO transactions are almost always instant but from time to time they have delays - please give the process
a few hours before contacting us if they are not displaying.
If you have used a PayPal eCheck the process takes PayPal up to 4 business days to clear the funds to us - as soon as
this happens your credits will be active. If you do not have a current balance to cover your purchase in your PayPal account,
i.e your bank account is linked to your PayPal account to draw funds, the purchase will default to eCheck. If you are still
having problems please contact us thru our support ticket so that we can assist you. →

Q. My counter was not reset at the end of the month
Your counter will not be reset automatically at the end of the month. The pictures your download today will be erased in 30 days. You can follow your download stats in “My Account” (top left window) panel ( http://www.absolutvision.com/AbsolutVisionV2/users/account.php)
Q. What is the difference between being registered user and being a Subscriber?
Registering is the first step before subscribing. By registering you will be able to download every day our "Free Image of the Day". You will also receive informations about new released images. When you are ready, make the next step by paying a low fee and become an AbsolutVision Subscriber.
Q. Do I have to pay for every image I download?
No, if you already are an AbsolutVision Subscriber, there will be absolutely NO other costs!
Q. How many images can I download every month?
Because we need to maintain site performance in order to provide our customers with an optimal speed 24
hours a day, 7 days a week, you are permitted to download 300 images per month. If everyone downloaded excessively, our server.
would not be able to keep up!
You can easily monitor the number of images downloaded by viewing the counter on the “My Account” panel (top left link).
Q. How many images do you add each week?
Each week aprox. 50-70 images will be added to our library. But some weeks, you will be pleased to see a lot more novelties! You can also participate actively by suggesting special requests for future releases. More info → …………
Q. Can I download several images at one time?
No. Currently you can download 1 picture at the time. But we are working on a new batch download system and this option will be available soon.
Q. Can I share my AbsolutVision login ID with my colleague?
No. AbsolutVision Subscription is personal. Since you will be responsible for the usage of the images downloaded with your ID, we advise that you really do NOT give your personal customer information to anyone else.
Q. Can I use my AbsolutVision images after my subscription expires?
Yes. When your subscription expires, it means you are no longer free to download images from AbsolutVision.com, but all the images you downloaded during your subscription period are yours, so long as you agree to our License Agreements.
Q. How can I change my login informations?
Go to "My account" link (top left window). You will be able to change your password and your login ID. If you want to change our e-mail, please contact support → http://absolutvision.com/support/
